Oh I'm so FULL

Thanksgiving 2010

At our house it's just the 3 of us since we live across the country from our family. As you can see we still have the whole makings of a thanksgiving dinner. Yes we end us having leftovers for a while.

This year we started a new Thanksgiving tradition of going around the table saying what we're thankful for. A few of things K said he was thankful for.

I'm thankful for mama and daddy
I'm thankful for our food
I'm thankful for papa and grandma's
I'm thankful for my toys
I'm thankful for hugs and kisses <--this one touched me a little more then some of the others just thinking of the kids who have never shared a hug with mom/dad

just a few of the things that K shared with us as K had so much fun with us going around the table saying what we are thankful it lasted nearly the whole meal time between bites.

Right after dinner the hubs jetted off to toysrus to grab some gifts for K. He stood in line for 4 hours before they opened but he got everything plus some and was home before midnight. As hubs went out I stayed home with K and watched Charlie and the chocolate factory and had pie :o)

I sure do and well I finally got hubs to get the drill out to put up some photo's. Yes I did state drill. Our walls are 100% brick. Have to LOVE homes built a LONG time ago.

So what do you think??? Now I just need to pick up some of the other photo's

Halloween Wreath

I saw a burlap Halloween wreath online and had to give it a try. I've always wanted to have a wreath on my door at all times. Something about having a wreath on the front door making the entry way much more welcoming..Now all I need is that red door that I am in LOVE with.

I had some ripe bananas that we needed to use so I thought about some muffins might be a fun way to use them up.

I searched online and came across this recipe with lots of people saying they loved the muffins so why not try it out. I gathered everything and started baking.

WOW! the banana smell

I'm not a huge fan of bananas unlike my son so I wasn't sure if these we're going to be any good or not

I tried them and I like them. huge hit in our house

Is this really how it's MADE???

I asked K to go and make his bed and he came out 20 min's later and this is what I found. Making your bed is toss your stuffed animals and pillow to the side of the bed and pull up the quilt just a little bit..

How can I correct him without hurting his feelings as he tried??? leave it alone and say good job and next time I'll help him make his bed :o)
